Quand des artistes germanophones inspirent nos élèves. "When German-speaking Artists Inspire our Pupils"

During the first lockdown in France, pupils from Ms Clément’s German classes were given the opportunity to create artwork drawing inspiration from four famous German, Austrian and Swiss painters: Paul KLEE, Gustav KLIMT, August MACKE and Franz MARC.

Each pupil was able to choose a painting from one of the many websites suggested by their teacher.  Their finished work can be seen at the school library as part of the celebrations to mark Franco-German day, on January 22nd.

Our Tourism students who are studying German were entrusted with writing up presentations of the 4 painters being showcased.  They also took care of the layout of the 14 drawings on display as well as provided information about the Elysée Treaty, which was signed on January 22nd 1963, and particularly its significance within the context of French-German relations.

Come and see for yourselves this beautiful exhibition!
